What is ethical hacking? An ethical hacker is a computer and networking expert who systematically attempts to penetrate a computer system or network on behalf of its owners for the purpose of finding security vulnerabilities that a malicious hacker could potentially exploit.
I am heavily involved with security groups such as OWASP Melbourne, Ruxmon and Sectalks.
I hope to be able to talk about my experiences of being one of few women in my field and hope to inspire girls to be able to see just how exciting it is to be a woman in the field of cybersecurity.
